Where people meet friends and friends meet Jesus!

Children's Ministry

The goal of our Children's Ministry is to assist parents in laying the spiritual foundation for their children, eventually leading them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  Knowing that "children are a gift from God" and that He has commanded us to "train them up in the way they should go", we offer the following ministries in a safe and loving environment:

  • Sunday School classes for each age and grade
  • Nursery and Extended Child Care for every service
  • Mission Friends
  • Seasonal Programs and Musicals
  • Children's Church and Choir
  • Girls in Action (Grade School Girls)
  • Royal Ambassadors (Grade School Boys)
  • Family Activities and Outings
  • AWANA
  •  Children's Programs

Girls in Action (GA's) and Royal Ambassadors (RA's) are the Southern Baptist Mission Education ministry for girls and boys in grades 1-6.  They are designed to reach children for Christ and to lead them individually and collectively toward living an on-mission lifestyle, encouraging them to become lay missionaries involved in God's mission through their church.

Both programs emphasize Bible memorization, understanding and application. Members commit to living as Christ's followers through the Girls in Action and Royal Ambassadors Pledges.

Elevate is an exciting program that uses multiple elements to captivate children and convey the Gospel Message. Elevate takes kids on an exciting new journey every 8 weeks with a different theme. Join us on our adventure every Sunday morning at 9:45am

AWANA is an acronym that stands for "Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed".  AWANA is a scripture learning and memory program for children K - 6th grade that meets from 5:20 pm - 7:00 pm on Sunday Evening in Fellowship Hall.
